Meet Amanda Hotchkiss, LCSW
Amanda provides warm, compassionate, and collaborative therapy for adults and older adults navigating life’s challenges. She has a special passion for geriatric mental health and supporting individuals and families through the emotional changes that can accompany aging, shifting independence, and evolving family roles.
Amanda works with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic illness, and significant life transitions. Whether you’re adjusting to retirement, navigating a new medical diagnosis, experiencing changes in your relationships, or trying to find your footing during an unexpected life change, Amanda offers a supportive space to explore your experiences and identify a path forward.
Caregiver support is another area close to Amanda’s heart. She understands that caring for someone you love can bring emotional exhaustion, changing responsibilities, and uncertainty. She helps caregivers navigate burnout, establish healthy boundaries, and find ways to care for their own emotional well-being while supporting others.
Amanda believes therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her goal is to help each person recognize their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and reconnect with meaning and purpose through life’s transitions.
